The beauty of Alpaca fibre and indeed the animal lies in its uniqueness. 

Alpacas are native to South America and have been domesticated for thousands of years.
They are to South America as the Merino is to Australia, both industrially and commercially.

We are fortunate at Storybook Alpacas to be one of the largest studs in Australia
running numbers well over the thousand.
 
The journey for us has been a blessing - they are truly magical remarkable beings
